Hi, I’m Dr. Nikki.

Tikkun olam refers to the human responsibility to repair what is broken in the world. It was central to my upbringing and informs my worldview and passion for social justice to this day.

I have been passionate about helping folks my entire life. Ever since I was a child, my friends always sought me out for support or advice. It made me realize this is what I am meant to do! Be it volunteering, mentoring, or through my role as a therapist, I enjoy connecting with people and seeing them develop. My years living in Europe and the Middle East gave me an appreciation for the importance of culture and a sense of home. My resulting ability to put others at ease, make them feel comfortable, and make them laugh is unique. Coupled with my outgoing nature, being a Clinical Psychologist fits my personality well.

I am informed by more than a decade of experience working with LGBTQ+ and often-marginalized communities. I have worked with folks in many settings and all across the lifespan, including community mental health, college counseling, private practice, and integrative care. I conduct workshops and consult with healthcare providers across the country on topics such as:

  • Depression and Seasonal Affective Disorder

  • Anxiety and Stress Management

  • Self-care in the midst of global tragedy

  • LGBTQ+ Identity Development

  • Women’s mental health

  • Reproductive health across the lifespan

I have also developed a knack for working with folks in STEM and the tech field specifically through my positions at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Purdue University Counseling and Psychological Services, and my day job as a Virtual Clinical Psychologist at Crossover Health.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, traveling, and kayaking. I’m a life-long bookworm and animal lover, and I love all things Broadway. Spending time with my family, friends, kiddo, and pup are top priorities. Chicago-born and Boston-raised, I’m also an avid sports fan!
